MM and KM Links September 2009 [Week 1]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this first week in the reign of Lady Jill (aka tearinghair), who should appear in person tomorrow! I found myself sorely challenged when trying to create some suitable new royal title for Jill and “Lady” was the best I could come up with!

This was just a dummy run to test the new procedures.

I expected to be able to cancel my submission as under the old system.

I'll be back at 19.00 hours!

Tomorrow, we may all be “sorely challenged” as we try to engage with the “new look” AnswerBank! Contrary to her cyber name of tearinghair, Lady Jill is acting remarkably calmly and I am the one panicking!

If all goes according to plan, her introductory launch should open at 8.45am and her four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am tomorrow, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. Of course, the new AB format may also affect entries for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links, which kicks off at an earlier hour. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.

I’ll keep it brief, since tonight will be my turn to do the local CC Quiz and I have yet to compile the “Picture Round”!

Evening all!! This is all new and confusing!!! There are no 'dividing' lines! I just blamed it on my new glasses!

Well evening all, this is going to take some getting used to but here goes.

Hope all well with you lot, am having to use, under sufferance, my daughter's laptop computer as my own is trying to divorce the modem/ADSL link.

I did suggest to crofter that in view of my cybername he should dub me Dis-tressed of Warwick, but I don't think he thought that was aristocratic enough. And no, that's not a hint!

Shucks...I can see you are not going to give anything away! I just hope I do better this month....or are you going to have us all tearing our hair out! I have been rubbish the last few months...I must be on a wavelength all of my own! It's from getting to know evsajo!!! :-))

Funky weekend Jan!...I have to drive Reg over to Wythenshawe Park on Sunday...early. He is doing 50 mile bike ride for Christie's Hospital. Then he is off all next week...so suggestions for jobs for him please...after he has tidied up the shrubbery tonight!

Sainsburys Scunny will need help with our local charity he can do a bike ride round the car park!!!

Jan...he didn't want to ask this time...so soon after the last one.
He has been sponsored by neighbours etc...and I started an on line page for him...but only with me on it!!
He didn't tell anyone...like I say...nobbled neigbours and family!
