Purple ribbon

Im trying to get some ribbon for our wedding cars in a deep plum colour to match our theme... however all of the craft shops i have tried have ribbon either 'too pinky' or 'too blue', or can only get thin ribbon.
I need 10 metres of ribbon about 1.5 inches wide. The cloest pantone reference is P262. it needs to be a satin type riboon not voile type as it needs to be strong enough to attach to cars.
I have also tried cake shops and florist and still no joy in matching it.
I have looked online but its hard to see the colour on screen, and all shops want you to pay for the reel when they ship it, but if its the wrong shade, then thats another waster roll!.
Does anyone know a shop or online store where i can send a sample to be matched??
Thanks

Do you have a John Lewis near you to take a sample of your plum colour to match?
How about one of the following from ebay - from your pantone ref - I'd say it was plumb on the first chart or the second is what I would call a 'cadbury' purple - I think that would work.

You did not say when you were getting married , if it is after January I could help you. I buy all my ribbon and stuff like that when I go to Turkey and it is also very cheap there. They sell every colour!! Regards, Margaret I am planning going in mid January so could get it for you then if you are still stuck.
Thanks everyone for your help :)
Whitelady - I get married in April so still have a bit of time but as ive been searching for about 5 months now, im starting to panic a little!
Do you know the name of the shop you saw the 5 different shades of ribbon in? I could call them and see if they could send me samples.
To answer Veggibear, the bridesmaid desses are the plum colour, and the overall colour theme is the same puple-y/ mauve colour. As we are having ivory cars though colourd ribbon would make a change. The Cadbury purple is lovely but its a bit too blue-y for what we need. Our plum is a little more pinky red in it!
