MM and KM Links January 2010 [Week 3]

This weekend, I may well experience a few problems, as the server I use to send emails is not responding. Perhaps it is being overhauled (?) Roslyn, if you read this, then please ring me at home. In the meantime, I shall try out the server every hour or so! Whatever happens over the next 12 hours, the MM Links will run as per usual tomorrow morning. We warm up at 8.45am and kick off at 9.00am.

The Arctic conditions seem to have moved on ~ at least for the present. The MM Links League Table have several entrants on (no more than) Four Points, so the field is quite open. This week could well be the defining Round. As far as I know, the international version of this same game (called KM Links) will be as normal. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz and goes by the name of “seekeerz” (don’t mention Kangaroo Courts!). These games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards. All newcomers are welcome to enter either/both competitions.

Hi Jan, my part of Lincs (Mabo) has been wet and miserable all day too. Just popped in to say a quick hello. I noticed the pub round the corner looked warm and dry. Perhaps it would be better to stay in there and leave a note by the fire for the others.

Evening all. Don't think an early night will help me to get points tomorrow! I do dislike January (in general, not because I can't see into Regal Roslyn's mind).
