I have been trying to install the above instead of Adobe8 but still without success as it remained at 8 so I uninstalled 8 and tried again to install10 and am still unable to do so, and now I can`t even get 8 back. `Scream`.
I am with XP and my ISP is Yahoo via Virgin Media if that is of any help. I am still an idiot as far as PC`s are concerned so please reply in extreme `Laymans` terms to instruct. TIA

You shouldn't just use Add/Remove programs on your PC to remove flash, otherwise the removal is incomplete and may explain why you are experiencing difficulty installing the latest version. If you haven't already, just download the version for Windows on that page, and run the program (which is very small). This should properly complete the uninstall for you. Then try installing version 10 again and see if you have any luck. If not, post back.
