Why do most manufacturers insist on making the labels on t shirts etc out of the most prickly and uncomfortable material?

I agree!!! I always have to cut them out of my clothes. Time manufacturers realised they're losing advertising/prestige, not gaining it.

the manufacturers do this simply to mess with your mind.Now they have come out with the no label inside tshirts and underware.
