The Club is now open.

Sadly, Committee Room 37 is out of commission tonight due to flood damage. The floor is very wet and it has been deemed unusable.
No one has been able to detect a leak which is quite strange.

Tonight's talk will be on 'How to safely tidy drawers'.

well I`m more of a savoury girl myself but like the odd vodka cookie, its very quiet about isn`t it?
Question Author
Quiet and select.
Maybe more people will come along later.....
Did I hear his ludship wants some of my homemade broth?
okay Ladyalex perhaps we should just pass notes for the curling dont want to disturb his lordship, lovely tailcocks tonight Mamy, my compliments to the chef
Question Author
Well, he's not actually shouting for broth, Mamya, it's the curling.
He wants the sweepers to work harder and is urging them on with the traditional 'soop, soop'. Confusing, I know.

Notes, alexanderd, what a good idea. No longer the roaring game but the writing game.
Don't anyone mention Rhona Martin, though. He's apopleptic when she's mentioned...or perhaps he has taken a fancy to blondes....
i thought he was shouting "no more martini cuss, cuss"
Question Author
Well, that too is possible.

These tailcocks are marvellous. Do I detect an extra little somethingn in my pernod and bailleys ? tabasco, perhaps ?
Wasn`t the doctor he was recently under a blonde as I recall.

I thought Rhona Martin was a comedienne
well lordalex doesnt think she is funny by the sound of it
Question Author
Well she doesn't get many laughs in this house!

You have just reminded me about the doctor...poor lass. I hope she has recovered.
I think she was blonde. Do you think he is on the turn ?
well its possible I suppose

Its a splash of angostura you can detect it does heighten the flavour
Question Author
angoshura...isn't that a kind of wool ?
well as champion knitter I thought you`d suss me out
Question Author
There are few secrets in this club.....
doesnt that angus stuff come from some kind of mountain goat or am I confused(I usually am)
Question Author
I wouldn't say that there were mountains exactly in Angus.....glens aplenty...and certainly lots of goats, animal and human.
was thinking of angus beef for tomorrow milady if that is alright, with a whisky sauce
Good evening milady, good evening all - apologies for being late, I have a sheegogue of apples in the trailer which I thought we could use - pie-making, bobbing, putting in the punch? I have just got over the scary sight of a skellington at the front door - I hope we didn't lock someone in last week by mistake?
Question Author
Hallo boxtops.
Yes, sheegogue fairly got things going this morning, didn't it!
Any more from that person and I would have had to unleash the forces of hell on them.

Angus beef in a whisky sauce...delish. You do spoil us Mamya. Can we have mushy peas with it ? And are you putting the sprouts on later this evening ?
got all veggies from the allotment ladyalex so will assist matron in the kitchen, we could have those leeks you mentioned earlier as well
