Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Having trouble sorting out security code! What is second to last! For example take the word answerbank wnat is the second to last letter!

The second letter counting from the end is N

If it is a trick question, the 2nd to last = NSWERBANK

joggerjayne it isn't a trick question I am trying to set a security code and they ask this question, I have tried "a" but doesn't seem to work. Think I am going doolally!

Thanks for your help the correct letter was "N". Why couldn't they have said the penultimate letter, or last but one,

Ah I sort of see. I was considering the other 'a'.
So 'n' would be "first to last" :-D

Yes it could have been the first N (Answerbank) as that is second to the last! Not everyone knows what penultimate means so you would have to have had the dictionary at hand! Sorted now!!
Why aren't thing simple in life!
