At the last Committee meeting it was decided that there would be no further raffles.

However, we do have several items intended for the raffle.....

half a pair of cotton gloves (Size 7 pink)
4 packets of Fig Rolls
A small tin of Hawick Balls
and a packet of Tenas.

My suggestion is that we sell tickets and then draw lots for them.

The person who has the winning number wins the prizes.

Any other suggestions would be most welcome.

I think thats a splendid arrangement given the commitee ruling and I would like to donate

Good evening milady, and a reasonable day it's been today. I've had a bath so am ready for the fray.
Your idea about tickets is so novel. I would offer to sell them for you but may not stay awake until the end.
I have a wodge of China tea, my friend brought some green tea back from China in a cake, it looks like fertliser - we can either serve it or raffle it - your choice.

Hmmmm - I would be hard pressed (well the tea is) to tell. It could easily be mistaken for chipped bark. It's in a box with Chinese writing (not even a translatable use-by date...). We could set light to it if you like..... a line of tea would be novel for some?
