Thanks-I now know what a cryptogram is. I still don't get what i have to do in this case. How do the two words form a cryptogram?

I think its not a substitution cryptogram but the across answer becomes these when burnt, down answer is weapon once made of these trees, answer is a David Bowie song 5,2,5 ? That it what I have put anyway.
