MM Links Solutions October 2010 [Week 2]
24 Answers
I Strix, the equestrienne’s lesser-half, seem to have been, with two of the link words, Lady (God forbid) Bountiful.
Within seconds of posting my words hordes of you, like pillaging Vikings, came thundering ashore to collar me and claim maximum points. And even after the two minute rule came into play so the late arrivals gleaned armfuls of single points.
So the scoreboard is going to have more names than most village telephone directories!

THUNDER bolt
DONKEY cart
BRANdish
COLLAR stud
And, Heaven’s above, didn’t you all come thundering in desperate to collar me!
12 of you with Thunder and a skinny neck-sizeD 13 with Collar but I doff my hat to both mirandasmum for picking Donkey Cart and Ulysses110 for picking Brandish particularly Slaney getting BOTH Donkey Cart and Brandish. I had thought of putting JAUNTING for the Car(t) but only the Irish would probably have got that!

BUT who to name as HOT-SHOT of the week?
I could have named any of the three leaders but NO it has to be SLANEY for picking both of the tough ones.
Praise be to the Lord and let Hosannas be sung.
See you all, hopefully, in a week’s time when I intend to be a lot tougher. Can’t have you lot getting above your station!!
Have a good week,
Strix
p.s. Any errors in my scoring please let me know – I was offered/sent a terrifying Excel sheet (a program I have never had to use) to sort out the scores but took fright and it has all been worked out longhand!

Now that my computer has been clearesd of the 'virus' by my son and I am one year older, i notice that the answer supplied by CliffyG on my behalf got him one point. it must have been the picture of Jess that put the scorer off. I look forward to seeing a correction in due course. Thunder (Bolt) was the nickname at work of my ex-wife, so I had to go with it.
