Yep ... Christmas is almost here ... Kate has presented us with her Christmas present !!! and the links game is in total confusion as usual as the 'silly season' starts to have it's effect.
As always, I've not much idea what to do with this little bunch - maybe you have -
White Christmas
Winter Wonderland
The Christmas Song
Merry Little Christmas
well, everyone is more than welcome to try their hand and as usual, you have till midnight Sunday to lodge an entry and then I'll have the fun of trying to score it all on Monday.
Given that I understand the Daily Telegraph will not be published on Christmas Day, I think we'll call it quits for this year after Monday's results are published, however I'll be brave and start at the beginning of the New Year, so there'll be only one weekend to amuse yourselves and I figure you'll all be too busy to even miss it
So before you all head off on holidays, have a fabulous Christmas and I wish you all the best for the New Year ............ Steff
It clearly says "Link the songs to the names of the composers associated with them", so here goes (for possible maximum points). Me, ever the optimist !! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
White Christmas - Irving Berlin
Winter Wonderland - Felix Bernard
The Christmas Song - Mel Torme and Robert Wells
Merry Little Christmas - Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane
A very happy Christmas to everyone in this fantastic little club, especially those that do all the checking etc., and I hope everyone will enjoy a happy and healthy 2011!! It can't come quickly enough!
I've had a hectic weekend so I'm very glad I haven't got to think up some improbable links before bedtime. Thank you Steff for putting up with me all year, and for making the game such fun. Happy Christmas to you & yours .... and to everyone else who plays 'this silly game' every week. Till 2011 .... xxx
