Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

MM & KM Links January 2011 [Week 4/5]

This will be the final week for both MM Links and KM Links and I look forward to a thought-provoking challenge from Queen Christiana the Cheerful One. Last weekend, my visit to Tyneside went well and I was back in good time to deal with matters concerning AnswerBank. This week, it will be Christiana’s turn to travel. She will be in Portugal and in her absence I shall launch her Link Words on her behalf. Since grandson Harry is staying overnight at the Croft, sleeping in won’t be an option!

As far as tomorrow’s launch of MM Links is concerned, everything should go ahead as normal with the exception that it will have the “crofter” avatar rather than the cute little hedgehog of Queen Christiana, Does this image mean that she is “cute” or “prickly” or a bit of both? Look out for the channel of communication opening on AB at 08.45am and her four words to be linked should be posted at 9.00am. This is when MM Links kicks off in earnest and remember ~ early MM hits gain bonus points!

As usual, I ask that you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz ( Roo-land) and is my good friend, “seekeerz”. She is truly the “Wizard-ess of Oz”.

“Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” You have nothing to lose. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards to trace progress through each monthly contest. These being the last rounds in January, the monthly honours will be bestowed before the scores are re-set at zero in time for the start of the February challenges.
