Essentially, I am employed in the building trade, which unfortunately is practically at a standstill in “Norn Iron” (N Ireland) at the moment. A lot of my life has been sports orientated, my claim to fame being that I have played rugby for Ulster. Like many others favouring the oval ball, physical injuries eventually took their toll and I was forced to retire.
I live in a typical, small, two-street “Norn Iron” village, which has three mini-markets, yet can boast no fewer than eleven drinking establishments. This situation gives me plenty of scope to socialise with my mates. Thankfully our hectic winter is now almost a memory and longer evenings make the garden look more tempting. I wonder what vegetables I will plant this year. No doubt it will be very similar to last year!
