Is Terminal 3 At Dubai Airport Easy To Navigate?

Morning fellow Answerbankers, 2 of my daughter's and myself are making the long flight from Heathrow to Sydney in November, changing at Dubai, we have a 90 minute stopover going and an hour and 45 coming home, a friend of mine from Australia has told me that once we land at Terminal 3 (we're flying with Emirates) we will have to rush like mad to reach our connecting flight as T3 is so vast, is this true? I dont want a mad panic on my hands, especially as i have my daughter's with me, if I were on my own it wouldn't bother me. Thanks :-)

Dubai T3 is huge, you will have to clear security again with your handluggage but the lines move smoothly. There will be dozens of staff to assist you. Be impressed by the size and the spotlessness of it all. Personally 90 mins is a pretty tight connection if your inbound flight is a little late....but they will put you on the next plane if you miss it!
Emirates are a fabulous airline.

Thanks auntie-Bertie, 90 minutes is a pretty tight connection you say, that's great as Emirates have e mailed saying the inbound flight is landing 20 minutes later than originally scheduled so now we only have 70 mins to get to our connection :-(

if you're on Emirates on both legs they should wait for you or find you another flight. If different airlines, you're on your own.

you may find them waiting as you leave the first plane, ready to get you to the second one - that sometimes happens but I don't know if Emirates do it. Tell the crew on the first plane you've got a tight connection, they may arrange for you to disembark quickly.
