How do shops have their own radio stations? I live near a Spar, which now has Spar FM. So how come I've never picked up the price of bread on my radio? Not that I want to, purely out of scientific interest!
I'm from the states - is Spar a grocery? Large grocery chains here sometimes have their own "radio station" which is really a long tape recording of sachharine music interspersed with ads for their specials of the week etc. It just creates the illusion of a radio station.
thats the one, they are pretending to have a radio station all the spars will be playing the same thing. At my place of work we have gone one step further we have aTV channel (or a long video if you will)
i know asda fm used to be on an audio transponder on the astra satellites, anyone with sky could listen to it aswell as the shops, i wonder if this is how the big boys do it and have it encrypted or whatever? just another way of them to brainwash you into spending more money though..
