Is Perpetual (sp?) motion possible? is so are we likely to see it discovered in our lifetime?

No, I don't think so.  Technically it would violate either the first or second law of thermodynamics which means that you'd have to rewrite an awful lot of the physics that underpins our world

essentially, it violates conservation of energy.

you could get pretty close to it though, if you reduced friction sufficiently. but it'll never be true, perpetual motion.

there is residual energy in magnets. The trick is to harvest this energy correctly. I am working on a solution this very moment.
