By The Way, Is There Anyone Here That Can Fly A Plane?

I was watching the film comedy "Airplane" last night and I was wondering, if something did happen to both pilots would the air control be able to talk someone with no experience in flying into landing the plane?

It probably would be too expensive for the air company and I'm guess if they all had pilot licences they'd want to fly theor own planes instead of dealing with awkward passengers. I'd certainly feel more safer if I knew that all the flight crew were trained in self defence and could fly a plane in an emergency.

Old_Geezer but if both pilots were out then it'd be the only way. How would a few and hundred screaming and panic stricken decide who was going to try and bring the plane down to safety?

Prudie why? I would feel safer if I knew the plane could be brought down safely by remote control in an emergency.
