First Female World Leader

Sirima Bandaranaike becomes 1st female premier of Sri Lanka (or Ceylon as it was then known)

Silly me, I thought the first female world leader was Eve.

I think Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Anne, and Queen Victoria might have predated her. And that's only the English ones. Queens back then had more power on the world stage than an elected politician
But to be the first Elected female leader is still worth being remembered for

What about Hatshetsup, first Suez canal, and she of "Cleopatra's" needle fame. Or was that her father or son?

Did the transitioning bit, like she had a beard. Don't know if she had the full gender reassignment surgery.
