well, can you imagine a country without roads or airports, phones or internet, having much of an economy? Do these elements play any part in your life, or that of anyone you know?
Guess answers will be in your course book and probably in lessons you have had. I have had neither so cannot answer your question sorry.
I used to teach all that.....don't you have a teacher? Have you got textbooks? Access to the internet? Really asking strangers who may or may not know the answers to your questions is risky.....and cannot be answered to the depth you need for your course. Seriously you learn more if you investigate and answer questions yourself...which is necessary for any exams you may have to take in the future. A please and thank you is polite don't you know!
MallyJ exactly why I make a point of not answering homework questions.
Mallyj, the OP does have access to the internet and is using it...
TonyV I don't either and I was a geography teacher for years so I probably could help but really people should do their own homework so that the knowledge seeps into their brains and is more likely to stay there!!
Jno....I know s/he does but was just making a point that the info is accessible should this student decide to do their own homework!
jno the OP has only posted once, intrigued that you know she has and uses internet.
Erm ...
lol, what are you looking at now, TonyV?
What does year 10 mean? How old is this child?
n schools in England Year 10 is the tenth year after Reception. It is the tenth full year of compulsory education, with children being admitted who are aged 14 before 1 September in any given academic year.
jno cunning deduction lol made me smile.
I know children who don't have continuous access to the internet, they have it only when their local library is open which is not everyday.
Thanks Lynne. When I was at school it was 1st year, 2nd year etc.
Yes, it was - OP appears to be in India, it is still the tenth year of compulsory education there.
