Ask yourself, how else would we have discovered the Clangers or the Soup Dragon?

Tin foil hat wearers are very welcome to join in.

Yawn - been done to death!

That is not really an answer us it Maggie May I say

I don't think man landed on the moon!! And furthermore I think all this space exploration stuff is a waste of time & money!!!  🤔

The only debate is...whether the hats are actually tin or, much more likely, aluminium.

Let's see how far this goes then 🤣🤣

I see the lunartics have been released on us again....

May have done...but then again...

If man did not land on the moon, and the scenes we all watched on tv in '69 were done in a studio, then just think of the number of people are 'in on it' and ask yourself, "Could such a high number of people keep it  a secret throughout their entire lifetime?"

And, surely, your answer must be, "No they couldn't." Everyone likes to believe they are good at keeping secrets, but the bigger the secret, the more tempting it is to blow the whistle.

The world is (almost) round, bears defecate in the woods and man walked on the moon.

You can't have a rational debate on the blatantly obvious knowledge that the human race got there in June 1969.

and father christmas is for real!😧

How could they have even got into orbit if the earth is flat?

This is a stupid thread if ever there was one!

1581960 - it is as valid a question as any other on Chatterbank. 😁

A former president, forget which one, said 'Three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead ...'.

And as a previous poster has pointed out, the sheer number of people who would have to be involved in a 'pretend' landing, makes the idea a nonsense.

It's human nature to ponder hugely significant events as conspiracy theories, which is why every major event in the last hundred years has at least one theory attached to it.

The moon landings occurred during the height of the Cold War. If the Soviets had the slightest doubt about the landings, they would have blown the whistle decades ago.

Or, as someone jokingly pointed out a few years ago,

the moon landings were faked. In order to make it convincing, NASA employed George Lucas. He was such a perfectionist, he insisted on shooting everything on location...😀

Ask yourself, how else would we have discovered the Clangers or the Soup Dragon?

wolf63 - I didn't say it wasn't a valid question, it's just a stupid one!
