I went to the Benefit counter in boots and the girl told me to use either deep greens or purpley mauves. She did my eyes in the green and it looked really good!
You could try going to one of these counters and getting it done by the experts, and see which suits you best!

I have red hair (but naturally blonde), and very dark brown eyes. I normally use dark purple eyeshadow and black/dark brown eyeliner that I smudge with a brush to create a more subtle effect. I sometimes use glitter eyeliner when i go out as it brightens up the eye really well! I think dark green is also ok for brown eyes.
hi pinkgrl
i would agree with the others on the green option, i have the same colouring as you. try all sorts of greens i usually opt for olive tones and light browns but the occasional bit of purple or pink never goes amiss. it's all just trial and error really, pop in to body shop or boots/ department store and get them to try out some colours on you, make sure it is tried on your face not hand , they will probably try and sell you most of what you've got on but only buy it if you really think it suits you and another tip is too make sure you see your make up in both artifical and natural light if possible, i look like a supermodel under the bathroom light and like a haggered witch in natural light sometimes, depends what i have got on my face or how p***ed i am before i having done my make up!! have fun experimenting..... you could do a different shop each saturday and get your face for free before a night out!! :-D x
