Anyone actually ever really fall asleep at work?
7 Answers
I am terrible for this expecially in meetings, i have to pinch myself to stay awake, unless im having an active discussion and im the one talking i am really bad, i hate it! and worry so much.
Also i fall asleep roughly about this time during the day when im doing general boring work, even once when i was taking a call i was asking queations and felt my head drop! its terrible!
Might be a factor that im a mum and work full time and i get so tired!
Any one else do this?

Anyway, if they don't want people to sleep, they shouldn't be so boring!
p.s. I work full time as well but start early, so I can pick up the kids from school so I am effectively a full time parent as well as working full time .........and all the rest, shopping, housework etc.

Yup, I used to burn the candle at both ends royally. went to the loo, thought ill just rest my eyes for a minute, over an hour later someone is calling for me. I had to pretend I was sick.
Not the first time, I have fallen asleep for a minute or two, stood up propped against a coffee machine. My ability to sleep anywhere is phenomenal.

Society - although my name is confused im certainly not confused about day and night!
Probably alot to do with being a mum to 4 and working full time.
Goodsoulette - I also have had to go to the toilet and said to myself ill just rest my eyes and nodded off, not quite for an hour but for some time. Its horrible, im okay in the mornings but its about the 3o'clock mark.
See if i had a more active job i think i'd be ok, but sitting on computer doing a boring job dont help.
It gets very embarressing.

I used to have real problems staying awake when I worked. I tried everything and nothing seemed to work.
It was low blood sugar - not eating a proper breakfast and lunch.
It plagued me for many years - and as I also had health problems it was a real nightmare.
I am now 'retired' on health grounds and try to watch my diet.
