If it takes earth 365 days to orbit the sun and after one year you are 1 year old.On Mercury it takes -0.24 yrs,Venus-0.62,Mars-1.9,Jupiter-11.9 and Uranus-84 years to orbit the sun,How many birthdays would you have had on the other planets and how do you work it out,A question posed at work that is causing a bit of head scratching.

Divide your Earth-age by the figures you have given for the other planets:

e.g.     10 years on Earth    =   10 0.62 Years on Venus

=    16.16 Venutian years

Thanks a lot Kempie, you have confirmed what one of the lads was saying, cheers.

I guess life on other planets ask the same questions and their concept of time may be different to ours.

I guess whatever planet you live on a natural cycle of time evolves which takes into account their own orbital cycle and that of any moon or moons (plural).

Our concept of time doesn't necessarilly stand true as a measure for anywhere else.
