Did anyone else have to scrape the frost from their car windows this morning?

Actually, I cheated & poured some luke wam water over them for quickness. It was 08:00am & we were in a hurry to get the girls to school.

(South Bedfordshire).

I've not been out to the car yet today and infact I've not even got dressed yet! Total rest was in order lol

lol Doc - you sound like our little pussy Milly! She keeps crawling under the duvet cover & sleeps there all day! -xxxx-
I did here in Oxfordshire too. Did think about getting some warm water but I'd already started the car and would have had to take the keys out to get back in the house.

Blimet dot - must be nice to have a 'total' rest! Haven't done that for weeks, as have daughter & granddaughters staying with us! ♥

Yeah, it was a bit of a shock when I went outside to put all the school gear in the boot! The frost was quite thick for this time of year Milly! ♥

Think its going to be a long winter!! Still very cold now, the sun hasnt warmed anything up
there was a heavy windscreen frost early sunday morning (in hampshire)
Hi Smudge, no frost here but very cold. Sunny though.

How is C? x
you dont know what cold is down there, come to bonnie scotland and freeze your knackers off.
it was snowing just north of Aviemore on monday

Oh dear tonyted, that must have been an expensive day for you! On frosty days, I've often poured water on the car windows for quickness ('specially when I was working) & have been lucky so far....fortunately, we have a gravel drive, so the water just sinks thro' & doesn't end up like a skating rink!;o}

Yes, I bet it will be a l-o-n-g winter barb! I climbed up in the loft two weeks ago & retrieved our winter shoes & boots! (Only seems like yesterday that I packed them away for the summer)! ;o}

You're not that far from us then Booldawg - blinking cold innit?! ;o)
I don't pack anything away any more Smudge, the weather is hardly predictable these days. T shirt one day, thick sweater the next.

Hi Lottie, yes, it was freezing here this morning, but washing's now blowing in the wind - ready to air off in the tumble! Thank you for asking, Coggles has been on the thalidomide drug for just over a week now & apart from flakey skin on her hands, hasn't had any other noticeable adverse reactions - as yet! She's now waiting to go into hospital again for an op to stem the nose bleeds, etc., poor girl. Will let you know how she gets on. -xx-

lol tanny - wrap up well.

I love snow steg! ;o}
Poor Coggles, hope things get sorted for her soon. Send her my love. x

Mmmm, I don't think I'll bother any more Lottie - I'll just have a good clear out of clothes each season & done with it, lol. ♥
Question Author
Will do Lottie - thank you so much for caring. ♥
