Time Travel to the past.
I personally don't believe that it is possible to time travel to the past. However if it ever does become possible to do so then surely any effects cause by such time travel have lead us to this moment, me typing this and you reading it. Is my statement correct? Our past cannot be changed from what it is, therefore any conceivable time travel to the past in the coming years has been done and dusted before this moment in time, yes?

Grandfather Paradox :
Time travel is impossible as exemplified by the famous grandfather paradox. Imagine you build a time machine. It is possible for you to travel back in time, meet your grandfather before he produces any children (i.e. your father/mother) and kill him. Thus, you would not have been born and the time machine would not have been built, a paradox.

Rolls eyes in disbelief at the staggering intellect:
Naz - Yes, I would be, but that would hardly refute the theory of time travel, would it? Rather, it would prove it because I'd travelled back in time (see what I've done there?) and my grandfather had killed me...
Bertie - Imagine I'd built a time machine and travelled back in time? See, the theory of time travel is actually proved there, because I'd built a time machine and travelled back in time.
The wheels on the bus go round and round...
