OK for the whole world to eventiually end you're talking about a real big event!

Sun turning into a red giant will crisp it in 5 billion years.

Because the solar system is a multi body system it is impossible to prove that the orbit is stable and so in theory it could crash into the sun but the odds against this must be pretty high.

It takes a lot to distroy a planet
