tv arial after power cut

the block that i live in had a power cut about 20 hours ago and now tv's wont work, they all need re tuning but we cant get a signal. being bank holiday could'nt contact block managers. is there an easy way to cure problem with arial, what happened? thanks in advance for any help.

Is there a booster ariel that works via a light switch ?

Guessing that the system is amplified and this has blown.

There will be a splitter/amplifier somewhere in your block. Most likely in a cupboard, communal loft space or under the stairs, electrics cupboard or something like that.

Depending on your block it might be locked, in most cases there not for health & safety reasons but it WILL be there somewhere.

Wen you find it, it'll be a box with lots of ariel cables comming out and may have little LEDs lit on it depending on whether it's on or not.

Either reset it by turning it of and on agen, replace the fuse, or replug the cable relating to your flat that some little s#*¥ has pulled out.
