Letter from Santa, waiting here till nearer the time. Quite a few presents bought. Wrapping paper and cards already got, from sales last year. I is sorted...almost!

I've bought the daughters main present, but will not be baking 8 Xmas cakes until next month.

me too a bit of online shopping to do and a day browsing for little treats but will probably be sorted by mid november with just the cakes to ice... and the Frankfurt market to visit for a few evenings of mulled wine and naughty food.

I love putting the tree up and all the twinkling lights and seeing how other people decorate the outside of their houses. (Still miss special people and pets no longer here though).

When does everyone put up their Christmas tree? Weekend nearest the 5th is traditional here.

5th of December that is. I'm not the type to go overboard for Christmas any time before it's reasonable.

they played Fairytale of New York on't wireless last night!! I couldn't believe my ears! I had to turn the channel.. and then Duffy was on the next channel so I got in a fluster and had to settle on Classic FM!! Desperate times...
