Eccles - champagne & cheese on toast sounds good to me, and being on your own has its appeal. I've got mad but sweet M-i-L coming for a few days. Can't decide if I'm looking forward to it or not. Love her to bits, but....
Eccles - I did that one year cos I had a back injury which meant I couldn't move. I spent the day watching "Sharpe" on the Tv, drinking really good wine and eating M&S pre-prepared food with the cats. It was actually a lovely day.
No! Not really. I have just had a conversation with my daughter and we both agree, that apart from Christmas being for the kids, we would rather have a family get together when there isn't so much pressure.
It is far too commercialised these days and people worry about how much they spend. The saying: It's the thought that counts seems to have flown out the window
