What do you have for your Christmas lunch and tea and which do you prefer? I LOVE Christmas tea time.

Ah.

What is it about me and gay men! First George Michael, then I find out my childhood sweetheart is now married to a man, and now this. It's all too much!

No room for tea where we are - we eat about 3.30 - that lasts us for the rest of the day (last year we were still at the table after 9pm)

A few years ago, I had the very good fortune to have a week's stay at Lismore castle in Ireland. There, we had breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea at 4 o'clock and then evening dinner. The afternoon tea was sandwiches of whatever we'd had at dinner the day before, a lovely home-made cake and a pot of tea - all served in the drawing room overlooking the beautiful eatate. At home it's breakfast, lunch and dinner usually, but at Christmas it's breakfast, lunch (the big turkey dinner) and then Christmas tea, cold cuts, pickles, cake etc. Whatever you want to call it, it's the "tea" I love best.
Lol..

FGS, DT, I'm messing!!!

that's an army term at food time, ummmm, lol.
I've just noticed that too, horseshoes! What coincidence.
I'm not listening to anything the lovely Alistair Appleton says... just looking at him :-)
He's unavailable, Bluestone. He bats for "the other side".
Whaaaaaaaaat?!! Are you sure, DT?

At least nobody can hold you responsible for George Michael... ;-)
Bluestone, I used to have a major thing for him too. Until I realised what you just did :(
