I don't mind them celebrating xmas if I was sitting on a beach cocktail in hand. Let them get on with it :-)
My sister who passed 2 years ago , would love her back as a surprise gift to my Nephew & Niece
For me it's children.

But I'll settle for Daniel Craig (Lottie, can you give him a rinse after you've removed the chocolate please, I'm on a diet) and thin thighs.

Failing that a house with about 5 acres of land so I can have more chooks and some ducks and some horses and some woolly baa lambs and a HUGE veg plot.
Perfect, Lottie, perfect :-)
My boxer dog who died way too yound and is the worst grief I've ever had to deal with. My mum too as long as it was just for Christmas!
I'll rinse him off properly in the shower Barmaid. Oooooh, the very thought of Daniel in the shower...........................
Oh Lordy, I may have to go and take some air.......
Perhaps I'll bring Daniel with me ummmm!!
Thats one of the good things about Christmas - its like a sign post in our lives to look back on the ones we have had and the loved ones we have shared them with
He he, Barmaid!!
To grant you all your wishes.
Have to be absolutely honest Ric.ror. I find the Christmas season and December the most depressing time of the year. I don't mind Christmas day because I see my closest family, but I see them at other times too. I really look forward to the beginning of the New Year and January. The emergence of the first signs of spring, aconites and snowdrops give me far more pleasure than Christmas ever will. I liked it when my son was little because of the joy it gave him.
Oh Lotty I am just the opposite
I love Christmas - to the point that when we get those grey days in January and February I just pretend that its November or December and Christmas is still to come
I hope that does not make me seem strange
Same as pusskin and Lottie. Miss my dad more than I ever did at the beginning, he died in 2002.
I don't think you are strange Ric.ror. I think I am more strange in finding Christmas so depressing and wishing for January (even though I must admit I don't look forward to January/February weather!!)

My Dad died in 1981 Yoga, and I still can hear his voice and see him coming around the corner of our house and smiling at me through the window. He was only in his early 60's and was a very youthful, vibrant man.

How are you, by the way, Yoga?
Just fine thanks Lottie, how are all your aches and pains?x
Glad you are OK. Aches and Pains much the same as ever. Have now been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia as well as Arthritis, although there is no definite diagnosis with Fibro - I just have all the right symptoms and signs. But I get by!!
for not one person to go

"aww your spending xmas on your own" (pity face)
I'd like Idris Elba to help with my get fit regime please :-)
