A noisy or quiet affair? Will it be something you're looking forward to? ... or dreading? Has anything changed for you this year that changes the way you will celebrate it .. good or bad? It's not a great time for everyone is it, can be a make or break time for people, may be a new journey for some as we head towards Christmas and in to a new year?

Hi Islay, you must already feel fantastic, what a life changer!!
On the 25th it will myself, OH and our Labrador. I have a leg of lamb in the freezer and we will eat and drink more than usual. Hopefully get a short walk if doggie is up to it, very real fears that it will be her last Xmas.
As children, it was fairly awful for both of us at this time of year so we try to get through as best we can.
oh and I will be going to daughters she is very low since losing hubby last November .
It is nice to all be together for a happy occasion....the grandchildren all have partners now...just a pain trying to remember names....well not my own of course....I can still do that..... ;-)
I do thank you Eleena and cannot wait to see what the next year brings me and what I can achieve next.
Lobster for Christmas dinner as a wee treat.
Apparently my husband has already set me a challenge to climb Slieve Donard next year!

Changes here in the new year, don't want to say any more, but it saddens me, we'll see.
my mum passed away in June so that will be sad for all of us siblings. she would have been 88 now, seems like a lifetime ago that she died.
