Lottie - we are kindred spirit there. Beef is my all time favourite. Roast beef is England on a plate!
It has to be rare for me itchkeria, and either sirloin or rib. Nothing else will do.
Oh, and I hate turkey...I just find it boring and dry. And that doesn't change no matter how it's cooked.
I've not eaten lamb for many years, and pork is ok in sausages or stir fries.

Love roast beef and hate roast pork , not keen on lamb either
I have Aunt Bessies Yorkshires with most meals even steak and chips! And Aunt Bessies roasties tonight with pork loin chops.
Sharon, if I am doing fore rib on the bone I dust my roasties in a mixture of sifted flour and dry Colman's mustard. The same mixture is rubbed into the fat of the meat before slow roasting. Delicious!
Good old Aunt Bessie, she's my fave too. I must try these new ways of cooking potatoes.
Day after warmed up yorkies with golden syrup and bacon for breakfast

Never heard of that calmck
I hateTurkey too and not too keen on chicken unless it's disguised. And I don't like game of any sort. I can remember loving rabbit as a child.
Question Author
I’m quite a parky eater but I like Turkey when it’s cooked breast down and the juices go into it making it quite succulent
Sharon, I follow Delia Smith for roasties but I saw this article yesterday and certainly agree with the Maris Piper choice:

Parky or picky, Bobbie?
My mum always had any leftover Yorkshire with jam for pudding and nan made the most gorgeous caramelised apple Yorkshire in a big roasting dish.
Question Author
Parky here Choux :0))
I don't know "parky" sorry.
I once bought turkey mince to make spag Vol. Never, ever again. I'm actually can't cope with cooking poultry and can't stuff a chicken without baulking!!
Question Author
Same as picky I suppose ;0))
