Tiggs a dinner inside a giant Yorkshire pudding is yummy
We’re having Yorkshire puds this year for the first time because we’re having rib of beef..for the first time, instead of turkey.
The yorkies and the roasties (in goose fat) are courtesy of good old aunt Bessie.
When we were in Scotland recently we had a lovely roast dinner in a giant Yorkshire, in a pub.
I’ve made celeriac mash once or twice, with Christmas dinner, but have never made mash, I doubt we’d have room for it.
Yesterday I made spicy red cabbage with a jar of cranberry sauce (a Waitrose recipe) instead of fresh cranberries, it was very successful after a bit of tweaking, and is now nestled with the potato dauphinois in the freezer.
I don’t know Kevin Bridges.

If he’s a stand up comedian that’ll be why I don’t know him. I don’t watch them.
He's a comedian, Naomi. I don't know if it's just me but I never found Billy Connolly funny.

No matter how often I see repeats of Eric & Ernie I still laugh.
Yes, Yorkshire pudding. How on earth does anyone eat one of those big ones filled with other food? That’s some feat!!

Me too , the classic has to be when they did breakfast to The Stripper ,also the guests like Shirley Bassey and Andre Previn who scrambled to be on their Christmas specials
Andre Previn is my favourite. Eric played all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order. Superb! I’m laughing as I’m typing here. I think my husband thinks I’ve flipped!! Haaaaa!

And Shirley with a big boot on with here beautiful gown , so funny
Andrew Preview is one of my favourite comedy sketches.
All those famous people queuing to be on the show - and all good sports.
