Do you get a Christmas bonus from your workplace? I work in a well known fashion store and get a lousy 10.

Shazzabell, be grateful. That's 10 more than we get. In fact, it's 10 more than I've ever been given.

The most we get is a box of choccies from the department manager - who buys them out of her own money because she appreciates what we do.
I work for a well known international company and we get sweet fa. In fact we also have to pay for our xmas dinner !
where i work we can chose to either get bonus monthly or yearly in december. It's usally a minimum of 120 a month but sometimes as much as 250 - 300 depending on how much work we get out of the door. Those that choose a yearly bonus get an extra 10% for the privelidge.
i work for the largest retailer in the country and get nothing.
we were carers in the the community and all we get off the home care agency is a cheap bottle of wine
Your lucky that you get something. Just shows you, what they think of their staff. Get a bottle of plonk and have a drink on them.
You're lucky to get a tenner. I get nothing in my workplace. Perhaps you would all feel better if you combined your tenners and gave them to charity and let your boss know you have done that and suggest they match the amount.
We get double wages at Christmas togethr with November salary, and the same at holiday time (usually end of June). It's even taxed at a lower rate!

Hi

Happy Xmas every AB ers
My hubby's firm used to give all their worker's 100 but last year they gave everyone 50 worth of shopping voucher's so cant complain.
We get 13 per person for a Christmas 'do', but if you don't go, you get nothing =0(
I get a day off for christmas shopping paid - oh and a calender which im to use at my desk!!
im going to give my employees 50 each, which i dont think is bad cos some of them earn more than me !!!!!!
Well,we get to leave work 15 mins earlier than usual on the day we break up...thats it!!!!!
But i guess that better than nothing.
Leave half a day early on the last day and then a whole fortnight off.
Yay.
Get a couple of weeks off, but it comes out of holiday allowance.
I get nothing, and I work for a well-known oil company. Skinflints!
I work for a University, and we don't get a bonus, although our department (about 30 of us) usually all go out for lunch on the last day of work, and we don't have to go back to work afterwards. Usually work pays for the meal and we have to buy our own drinks.

My husband's firm (accountants) is pretty generous - last year everyone, including the caretaker (my husband) got a bonus in their December wage packet, and everyone got invited to the firms Christmas dinner / dance, where drink was supplied!
