I first heard it when a young wife was having an affair with her brother in law who was giving her 'driving lessons' and her husband found out and they had a DNA test to find out who the father of the baby was.
Oh yes wendilla, The Archers and Mrs Dales Diary were listened to in my family, although never by me. The signature tunes were enough to send me scurrying out the door!
The only programme that I remember with any fondness was Tony Hancock, especially The Radio Ham, The Lift and of course The Blood Donor - we still enjoy listening to them.
