I have a feeling it's going to be one of those threads, but i'm going christmas shopping soon.

What should I buy my dad for christmas?

It needs to be something that's between 5 and £10 but it can't be any of the following which rules out nearly anything possible;

~chocolate (he's too fussy and even if he doesn't like them he just shoves some in his mouth then screws his face up and leaves the rest)
~a mug (he has to have china cups, which I've never found with any of those slogans on)
~clothes (including slippers and accesories such as jewelry) (he's so fussy, and he just got a new pair of slippers and he's allergic to lots of metals and wouldn't wear jewelry anyway)
~alcohol (he has tonnes in the cupboard and even if I got someone to buy it for me, my budget doesn't extend to buy the kinds of things he likes)
~CDs or DVDs (he never watches or listens to them.)

He's got loads of wallets, lots of people seem to get him one as they can't think of anything else.

All he ever seems to get as gifts are; chocolates, alcohol, tools, wallets and clothes (which either don't fit him, or that he won't wear)

And toiletry sets, which he hardly ever uses.
Get him a hat, scarf and gloves...
God is this still going!
I'm with ummmm. What sort o parent, or anyone come to that, dictates how much you spend on them at Christmas?

Tell him to get stuffed, he's getting nowt. Cause lets face it, whatever anyone suggests you'll not like anyway.
Question Author

boo, my dad!
get him socks and pants. Something he will always need
all men like socks - get him some trendy ones

Bright of you to choose correct zone for your question !
Tell him to let you know what he wants, say that if he wont tell you he will get nothing

Then he won't get me anything if he knows that.
I'm with BOO...don't waste your money on him. He's obviously not worth it. You're still in school so you shouldn't be expected to buy presents. I remember buying my Dad a present from my wages (not money he'd given me) He cried...That's how grateful he was...and proud...and I think he patted himself on the back knowing he'd brought me up to think of others. I was 14...
Since I'm here, actually my mum was like that, we always got told how much we had to spend, not just on her but on the rest of the family too. And she'd check what we had bought was good enough. So I can understand why you're stressing Molly.
You've had plenty of suggestions though and if he's going to moan whatever, it doesn't really matter what you get does it?
You don't give to receive Molly...!!!!
Great beanies in poundland with scarves to match, atm. Not many men enter poundland - so he cant check prices.

He will see same on teens in high street and think he's 'in the mode'.
get him a novelty joke present argos do a few nocvelty bottle openers or a pintglass with dad on ect
*novelty typo
What about..........nah never mind
Keyring?

Don't tell me he doesn't have any keys....

Get a T Shirt printed for him. That's what I'm doing for OH. It's going to read 'get off me' on the front...
