Valentines Day

Well it will be upon us very soon
Some of us who revel in our solitude will not be getting the usual chocs flowers etc. So I intend to treat myself to all of the above and more and, I suggest, you all do the same

I dont bother with valentines day, I find it a moneymaking con.

Don't really do valentines. I have the most amazing roses in the garden and my husband goes and picks some from there. It is a bit of a joke we have. I buy myself a birthday gift tho and sometimes I buy myself a gift on my husbands birthday as well.

We were walking round Tesco's this morning, and OH asked me if I wanted a new card this year, or should he just re-cycle last years, which actually came from the year before!? I said that I didn't really mind, but looking at the cost of them i rather hope he recycles - the shops are charging really silly money for just a card! But we will probably buy ourselves a nice meal to have at home to celebrate.
