Just bought a 227gm bag of their Christmas Blend coffee beans, and threw out some from last year. I noticed it was £3.50 last year, and £4.95 this time.

Perhaps you should have asked the price before you bought it.
If you'd waited a couple of weeks I'm sure you'd have got it much cheaper
