What you had bought you that you've never bothered with or used.
I ask because I often have a walk round the no end of charity shops in my area.
Now depending on what your looking for you can pick up the odd bargain, but most of them seemed crammed full of crystal glass in box sets with, To Nanny on them, figurines that look like they've never seen the light of day until they reached the charity shop, not to mention Bone China mugs also in presentation boxes.
So what do you have hiding in the attic that looks like ending up in the charity shop?

I also have a couple of Charles and Diana mugs which are still going strong, unlike the event.

Its a little sad when you look at some of the stuff that ends up in charity shops ( part of someones life)
A few weeks ago one charity shop had 4 very good framed prints of the Spitfire, the frames themselves looked expensive. Below them on a table was 4 model Spitfire planes, not made of plastic, but metal, very heavy too.

My mum used to buy me jewellery which I never wore. I don't wear any jewellery apart from when I'm going to a do of some sort. Same with makeup. I very rarely go out.
Ornaments and photo frames too. I don't have anywhere to put them and my book cases are just for books and jigsaws. I prefer photos on my phone than on a wall looking at me!

Out of interest, I've just searched Google for
"jumble sale", "ipswich" "2022".
Several came up in the results, both past events and forthcoming ones, for Ipswich and surrounding towns and villages. Every single one of them seems to say "[i]Scouti] Jumble Sale", indicating that it's largely only Baden Powell's lot that's running them these days.
I'm a terrible hoarder, so not as much finds its way to charity shops as it probably should. However I have had some strange gifts over the years, such as a set of sash window locks when my house didn't have sash windows!
