New Year's Eve - York

I was just wondering if there is anything going on on New Year's Eve in York?

The main event is the countdown in Time Square though I've heard it gets ridiculously busy there.

Are you going to be in walking distance? May well take you a good while to get out of the city otherwise.

Likely to be freezing too so I'd wrap up very warm :)

Forgot about the run, there's one every year in Central Park.

But if Koster has missed the 'New' out, then it's absolutely fantastic! Be at Times Square for around 7pm to get a good spot and not be relegated to a side street. Everyone gets a goody bag and we were treated to a live performance from Bon Jovi and Neil Diamond. The atmosphere is great and you forget about the cold (though DO wrap up)

I think it's wishful thinking that I'd be in NYC for Christmas :)

You should try to get out there at Christmas one year, it's just magical.
