Hey you share a birthday with one of the most famous people in history that is well celebrated.... surely not that bad.
It has to be said one of my brothers birthdays was on the 20th and it can be overlooked but a 40th like his 30th (this year) shouldn't be overlooked, any plans to celebrate other than tomorrow... like erm saturday.

I was born at the beginning of December and my eldest was born on 29th. I've often had to put up with the combined Christmas and birthday present, and the older members of the family are inclined to do the same for my son. However I've always striven to keep Christmas and his birthday separate, with two presents, and I think we should do this for those who have their birthday on Christmas Day.

Mine was on 22nd and my granddaughter's on the 28th (needless to say my daughter's birthday is in June!). I always got two presents, but I have never been able to celebrate my birthday properly, especially the big ones. Trying to get a decent birthday card is bad enough!
I would like one birthday in the summer when I need things for my holidays, or without it being overshadowed by Christmas. I always make a big thing of my granddaughter's birthday because I know how it feels!

Belated Happy Birthday, snigs! I sympathise :mine's on January 5th,and that's bad enough !. Apart from the "dual present" thing what always got to me was that the Christmas decorations are still up, the birthday cards are hidden in the Christmas ones, and the atmosphere is of a lot of tired, bored people who have been exhausted by Christmas and New Year and who really can't face another celebration. (And they haven't got any spare cash for a present either! ) It's never quite your own day.
Still, as the old joke has it, Christ himself never got a Christmas present ! He had to make do with his birthday presents.

PS I'm thinking of demanding an Official Birthday , like the Queen has. She's got one because one ancestor's birthday fell at a cold time of year and he didn't fancy having to face a ceremonial parade in the cold, so he chose a warmer time as an Official Birthday.
Well, if that was his reason, I reckon ours is a much better one for having another birthday. In fact, we could demand that everyone with a Christmas time birthday have the same official birthday, in June, say !.
