I must admit that dress is much better and you're not a miserable cowx
Beds, Never even thought that>
She looks lovely...

I never thought you were a miserable cow anyway :-)
Yep, nice frock, who's been calling you a miserable cow, bednobs ?.

no-one, i just seemed to be in the (very) minority for thinking she looked awful in that green coat thing (that the queen mother could have worn)
Right, I see what you mean, each to their own ( opinions ) bednobs, take no notice.
I don't like this outfit, it is very old fashioned and 'stiff' looking.
I agreed with your previous post Bednobs, I often look at the DoC and marvel at how she has managed to take a supposedly on trend dress/coat/whatever and make it look like something my granny would turn her nose up at. She has an uncanny knack of ageing herself with her choice of wardrobe.

I have to disagree with you regarding last nights dress though. I don't think it fits her terribly well, particularly around the arms and the neck seems a little to high. I don't think the gathering of the bodice at the back is flattering and the hemming is visible, overall I think it has the potential to be a nice dress but needs some refinement.

I also have an issue with the DoC's shoe collection, which seems very limited, personally I think a little kitten heel would have complimented the dress better.

Overall I think she looks her best when wearing jeans and a Barbour jacket, the moment she has to dress up she adds ten years to her age.
I loved her dress, it was very 50's in style, lets face it she isn't going to please everyone but she looked radiant and healthy and that's the main thing really :)
She looks a treat, and doesn't she have a lovely warm smile :)
Oh EcclesCake, surely you meant complemented - haven't heard of talking kitten heels yet!! Sorry, couldn't resist. I'll get my coat!
One of the papers reported Kate as "heavily pregnant" - er, not yet, she's only six months along!
Don't like this dress -looks like she ran it up herself on an old singer machine
Mags - tbh I thought that myself. It's designer apparently ..... but I remember a woman I worked with who only ever bought from Jaeger, the finishing was dreadful and important things like checks matching across a back zip never did.
Fair cop maggiebee :-)

I think it's the worst dress I've ever seen her in.
Her hair looks stunning, the dress looks too flared for me and what an odd (is it called this?) A line underneath her boobs. The shoulders are too rounded in it, makes her look like a hooker......the rugby sort for you lot ready to push the report button!
