Sorry notasyoung!! :o(
can't stand black trainers worn with black socks
I agree about the "Bright white" thing though, they are much better when they're beaten up!
<Craft hides her white Superga trainers>
I think the problem here is the White trainers. Never a good look for anyone, in my opinion.
That's OK Lottie - mine aren't pure white anyway (lol)
Actually, i have a pair of White Converse... but they don't count, right? And... they're very scruffy and definitely *not* prison white.
D97x7 good point, in the past when I bought a new pair of predominantly white trainers, first thing I did was rub them up with dirt and put an old pair of laces in them too, much better than "hey everybody look I'm wearing brand new white trainers"
Right I'm off, time to take doggie for his 'tea time' walk - now where are my white trainers ...............
I'm surprised the don't sell predistressed trainers the same as the jeans you can buy that are half worn out before you put them on.
T shirt, jeans and dark trainers for me, what's this fifty's thing about.
Haha. My sons got White trainers (his choice, not mine) and he asked me to clean them the other day. I had to explain to him that White looks better... well... black.

What colour socks would you suggest?

Black socks go with black trainers just the same as white socks go with white trainers
D97, you could be onto something there. Take it to Dragons Den! :-D
Lol!
Lol Joe. I thought that was a bit random, too.

You can't really wear Black trainers with White socks... that'd look ridiculous!
Nothing worse than bright white trainers!! In fact nothing worse than white shoes of any sort in my opinion.

Trainers should definitely look battered and worn and jeans should look fairly scruffy too.

I definitely like scruffy

Scruffy, and preferably with stubble (on men!!)
Ohh, lofty. That's the look I like too! :-)
Ooh, lottie, you got exactly right.
LL, I do scruffy really well :-)
