stocking for mum

I am planning on doing a stocking for my mum as a surprise and am stuck on ideas of what to fill it. Can you help me?

How old is your mum?

if your mum is the age of about 55-65 then you should make a stocking like they would have got when they were kids
apple
orange
nuts
but then put in something personal about jer childhood.
for example.... i did one for my mum and found a DVD of reigate from the sixties when she was growing up. Make it more about what was happening around her age when she would have got a stocking

Favourite toiletries, nail varnish, some costume jewellery, pair of Christmas socks, bag of chocolate money, a minature of her favourite tipple, a nice pen, diary.
