Charity shops

Do charity shops take in second hand duvets and pillows? I've only had them for a couple of months. Or would it better if I just threw them away?

We gave some old towels, duvets, sheets and quilt covers to our local wildlife sanctuary, they were very grateful. So I echo all above, don't throw them away. Also you could try putting them on Freecycle. But if you do put them on Freecycle, wait for all the responses to come in. We've found locally that there are people roaming around responding instantly to all offers and making a business out of reselling. So I would wait until you can make sure your bits and pieces are going to someone who really does needs them.
