Free delivery supermarket shopping?

Which supermarkets deliver your shopping for free? How much do you need to spend with them for them to do that? Which ones are good? Reliable? Cheap?
Which ones have you got good experience of? Thank you.

I've only used Tesco and Sainsburys on line. Both charge. I found sainsburys to be a little bit better and if they are so much as 1 minute later you get £10 off your next shop.

i think waitrose do if you spend over £75 and sainsbury's is £100 i think, i use tesco's but i have no idea of free delivery as i'd never spend enough to qualify. but as i don;t have a car, in order to get cat litter etc back from the shops i'd have to spend a fiver on a taxi so £3 to tesco's doesn't seem that bad

I use Tesco. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays they only charge £3 at certain times. Other times and dates are more expensive.

£3 for delivery at Tesco doesn't sound too bad. How much for Sainsbury's to deliver? A while ago Iceland had free delivery if you spent more than £25, has that amount gone up? Thank you for your answers

i depends what time you have the delviery - i use during the week 8 - 10pm and its £3, if you go later its £2.50. they usually turn up early as well, she was here at 7.30 this week

If you shop through 'mysupermarket.com' , they will show you the price of your item at Tesco/Asda/Sainsburys/Ocado so you can choose which one is the cheapest to shop with. You can see your running total at each supermarket as you add to your shop. I am having my order from Ocado delivered between 10-11pm and it is costing me nothing but I have spent £70.50. If it was under £70 it would have cost me either 99p or £1.99 can't remember which. With Ocado you have to spend over £40 to have it delivered.

Tesco and sainsburys charge between £3.50 & £6.00 depending on the time and day, i frefer sainsburys as its only an hour slot, not 2 like tesco. Waitrose have recently stopped charging, but as their food prices are often higher on some things that can, depending on what your buying cancel out the free delivery benifit, i also found out on a recent delivery from them, that if you order sonething that has been reduced because it is on its sell by date, they give you it for free.

If they deliver in your area, I can wholeheartedly recommend Ocado, check out their site and every so often they will email you a 15% discount too.

I think they've changed it recently Lorri as when I had a delivery last year or even the year before, the cheapest was around £3.99. Either people complained or Tesco saw other supermarkets delivery prices and decided to change.

Waitrose is free for every delivery over £50 if they deliver in your area (not to be confused with Ocado) They are the same company but Ocado is warehouse based and Waitrose comes from the store. Both are great but not cheap. An article I read recently had Ocado as the best and,having tried all of them,I'd definitely agree.

my local co-op delivers free and gives timre slots
