how big is too big to wear a maxi dress? i'm a size 14 but i only ever see skinny girls in them

Has anyone seen any dresses with long sleeves
I'm a fatty too but luckily I am fairly tall so I can get away with it

im size 18 atm, and i wear them, and dont think i look stupid. and i am quite self concious when wearing something like this x
