Does anyone know how to remove these annoying scratch marks from my glasses? Specsavers won't do it. Too much trouble but I wonder if there's anything that could do it by way of cleaning or wiping? Any ideas? TIA.

Not a case of "too much trouble" - more a case of "the results won't be very good".
You could try rubbing vasaline over the lens or something similar, but usually if they are scratched and it is a distraction then the option is to buy new. Usually you are focussing into the distance and the scratch isn't apparent.
Whether you see them or not depends on your ability to focus at short distances. I notice every little speck of dust on my lenses but OH doesn't see even the biggest fingerprint. Once scratched, there's little you can do to improve them, though.
Are they acrylic lenses 10?
Clas Ohlson in the Manchester Arndale sell a kind of polish. http://www.clasohlson...uct.aspx?id=161261303
Friend swears by toothpaste rubbed over lenses in a gentle circular motion (affy technical!!) Never tried it myself but I just might now that I've remembered.
I've used brasso on mine years ago.
Good for watch faces too.
