My nephew's daughter had a battery operated insect for Christmas. It was so good I'd like to buy some. My sister said she bought it in Clintons Cards and she said they were in Hawkins Bazaar too. But they must be sold out because they're not there. Can anyone tell me anywhere else I can buy them, or tell me what they're called so that I can Google them? The one I saw was the size of a cockroach, it was rubbery, and yellow and green. You could put it on it's back and it would right itself. It had a little switch underneath that turned it on/off. It ran about randomly changing direction, it looked quite realistic but it was sweet. Thanks

Not sure of this one, but bought a battery operated tarantula from Hawkins Bazaar.
They are called 'Hurry Scurry'
Hawkins' Bazaar has gone into administration, so I'd be wary of buying stuff from them.

The rubbery insect is not at Hawkins bazaar anymore. So was just wondering if anyone knew the name of it, or the maker, so that I can Google it. I don't think there's a connection with the tarantula toys, but maybe. Do you know who makes them?
And hurry scurry because Hawkins Bazaar went into liquidation this morning.

That's confusing. I've found some other toys called I-Insect that are NOT the ones I want. So I'm having trouble finding where I can actually buy the ones I want. Amazon says £7.99 for the one I want, but there must be someone else more reasonable, they're only small.

This shows you how cute they are.
They sell them in Pundland, if you've got one close to you...
